The annual meeting, themed "Striving with Vigor and Perseverance," was attended by Wang Zhijun, Deputy Director General of the United Front Work Department of Sichuan and Secretary of the Party-Related Affairs Department, Dai Jun, Executive Deputy Director General of the United Front Work Department of the CPC Chengdu Municipal Committee, and Zhong Yi, Deputy Director General of the United Front Work Department of the CPC Chengdu Municipal Committee and Director of the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the Chengdu Municipal People’s Government. Also present were leaders from the Overseas Chinese Affairs Division of the United Front Work Department of Sichuan, the Office, Liaison Division, Economic Division, Overseas Chinese Affairs General Affairs Division, and Overseas Chinese Affairs Division of the United Front Work Department of the CPC Chengdu Municipal Committee, as well as representatives from the Chengdu Western Returned Scholars Association. 23 leaders responsible for overseas Chinese affairs from the United Front Work Department of districts, counties, and the city, including Sichuan Tianfu New Area, Chengdu Eastern New Area, Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone, Jinjiang District, and Qingyang District, were also in attendance. 成都侨商协会第五届理事会会长洪清鹏致欢迎词说道，2024年，在二十届三中全会精神指引下，协会积极响应党的号召，深入参与“一带一路”建设，助推会员企业与沿线国家和地区在贸易、投资、旅游、教育等多个领域的经贸往来和深度合作，促进成都与世界的互联互通，积极融入“双循环”新发展格局，大多数会员企业实现了稳健发展。他表示，新的一年，协会将继续秉承办会宗旨，在市委统战部的领导下，深化内部学习与合作，拓宽外部联系与交流，抓住机遇，迎接挑战，以更加开放的姿态拥抱世界，以更加务实的行动推动发展，为中国经济行稳致远贡献侨商力量。

Hong Qingpeng, President of the Fifth Council of COCEA, delivered a welcome speech. He stated that in 2024, under the guidance of the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, the association actively responded to the Party's call, deeply participated in the “Belt and Road Initiative”, promoted trade, investment, tourism, education, and other economic exchanges and deep cooperation between member enterprises and countries and regions along the route, facilitated the interconnection between Chengdu and the world, and actively integrated into the double development dynamic. Most member enterprises achieved steady development. He expressed that in the new year, the association will continue to uphold its founding purpose, under the leadership of the United Front Work Department of the CPC Chengdu Municipal Committee, deepen internal learning and cooperation, expand external connections and exchanges, seize opportunities, meet challenges, embrace the world with a more open attitude, and promote development with more practical actions, contributing to the stable and long-term development of the Chinese economy.

副会长周骏从“加强学习，拓宽思路，为会员赋能”、“发挥内部资源优势，促进会员互信与合作”、“加强互动，整合资源，助力企业发展”、“加强对外交流，促进企业‘外循环’”、“勇于担当，助力社会公益事业”等几方面总结了协会2024年理事会工作。他表示协会在新的一年将延续2024年重学习、重交流、深挖内部潜力、整合外部资源，携手更多机构开展深度融合，助力侨商企业健康发展，坚持效果导向，强化执行力度，以优质服务回馈会员和企业，回报政府和社会各界的期待。

Zhou Jun, Vice President, summarized the council work of 2024 from several aspects, including "strengthening learning, broadening perspectives, and empowering members," "leveraging internal resource advantages to promote mutual trust and cooperation among members," "strengthening interaction, integrating resources, and supporting enterprise development," "enhancing external exchanges to promote enterprise 'external dynamic'," and "taking responsibility and contributing to social welfare." He stated that in the new year, the association will continue to focus on learning, communication, unleashing internal potential, and integration of external resources, collaborate with more institutions for deep integration, support the healthy development of overseas Chinese enterprises, adhere to result-oriented approaches, strengthen execution, and provide high-quality services to members and enterprises, meeting the expectations of the government and society.

监事长刘烈雄从“按章办事，监督协会各项工作”、“严格把关，落实协会财务管理制度”、“尽职尽责，推进协会工作不断发展”等几方面对2024年监事会工作进行总结。他表示监事会希望与广大会员携手努力，共同履行监督职能，为协会的规范运作和健康发展作贡献！

Liu Liexiong, Chairman of the Board of Supervisors, summarized the supervisory work of 2024 from several aspects, including "acting in accordance with regulations, supervising the association's work," "strictly controlling and implementing the association's financial management system," and "fulfilling duties to promote the continuous development of the association's work." He expressed that the Board of Supervisors hopes to work hand in hand with members to jointly fulfill supervisory functions and contribute to the standardized operation and healthy development of the association.

成都市委统战部副部长、市政府侨办主任钟毅对长期以来关注并助力成都发展的侨商表达了诚挚的感谢。他表示，成都市委统战部始终坚持各项侨务工作走深走实，不断扩大海外朋友圈，深化与海外的经贸往来，期待广大侨商能够积极投身全面深化改革开放的时代热潮。

Zhong Yi, Deputy Director General of the United Front Work Department of the CPC Chengdu Municipal Committee and Director of the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the Chengdu Municipal People’s Government, expressed sincere gratitude to the overseas Chinese who have long been concerned about and contributed to Chengdu's development. He stated that the United Front Work Department of the CPC Chengdu Municipal Committee has always been committed to deepening and solidifying various overseas Chinese affairs, continuously expanding the overseas network, and deepening economic and trade exchanges with overseas regions. Members of COCEA have close ties with 30 countries and regions worldwide. During the award ceremony at the annual meeting, Fu Qinggang and eight other members were awarded the second batch of the title of "Overseas Affairs Liaisons" by the association.
